I’m Lauren Wiens. With over 15 years in the nonprofit sector, I specialize in helping mission-driven organizations secure sustainable funding through strategic grant development. My background includes nine years of growing successful grant programs and over five years in nonprofit leadership, focused on donor engagement and private revenue growth.

I began my career working directly with families in a transitional housing program. Later, I stepped into leadership and discovered a passion for grant seeking and foundation relations. Since then, I’ve led teams, built systems, and helped raise millions to support communities across the U.S.

I founded Ink & Impact to simplify the grant process and champion nonprofits doing vital work. My approach is relational, detail-oriented, and always centered on your mission—because funding isn’t just about dollars; it’s about sustaining the services our communities depend on.

On a personal level, I’m a Southern California transplant, originally from the Chicagoland area. Though the West Coast is now home, I’ll always carry a special fondness for the Midwest. When I’m not developing and writing grant proposals, I enjoy reading, exploring all that California has to offer, and spending time with my high school sweetheart, Corry, and our three lively children. Fun fact: all three are redheads—even though neither of us are!
